Giving birth should be a marvellous experience to be remembered with joy for the rest of your life. To get the best out of this wonderful experience you must be well-prepared.
We have all the tools you need to approach the birth well-prepared and without fear.
We offer birth preparation courses according to the Swedish concept “Annas Profylax” which teach you all about what to expect in labour, breathing and relaxation exercises, massage techniques and also how coaching and visualization can be used during labour and birth.
“If it weren’t for the visualization exercises that we did in the course, I would have been completely lost when we had to change our planned natural home birth for an urgent Caesarean in the 34th week. My husband and I had a good “road map” and that way we managed to face the new situation feeling quite confident and calm, given the situation.”

About the MARE MEVA:
Viktoria is originally from Sweden and has lived in Catalonia since 1998 when she arrived to complete her studies in anthropology. She is married and has two children – both born in Barcelona.
When Viktoria was expecting her first child she searched in vain for a prophylax course to prepare for childbirth, and for someone to demonstrate different massage and relaxation techniques to her and her partner for use during delivery.
Viktoria instead sought the help of the Internet and Swedish books, among other sources, by which to prepare for childbirth as best she could (for example the Signe course and “Att föda” by Gudrun Abascal). A seed of thought was however sown, and she pledged to train as a prophylax instructor and thereby offer the services that she would have liked to have availed herself of while pregnant.
She is also a trained Doula (Odis, Sweden) and has several years of experience supporting those expecting children, both during childbirth as well as during the first period with the new baby.
